During a fascinating journey through time, a guide will lead you from the courtyard of the monumental St. Paul's Church to the crypt and archaeological site of this gothic gem. Then you descend to The Ruien for a fascinating walk through the ridge that ran alongside the monastery in former times. You walk underground to the end of the Koolvliet where you can take a look at the Burchtgracht, the oldest and most authentic canal in Antwerp.

€24 per person, accompanied by a professional guide.

Number of participants?

There are a maximum of 10 spots per time slot. So be there on time!

When? 

You can book a combo visit with a guide on Friday at 2:15 p.m.*, and on Sunday at 2:15 p.m.*. Reservations can be made until just before the start of the visit.
* No visits possible during church services

Duration of the visit? 

+/- 90 minutes. Keep in mind that changing clothes after the walk may take an extra ten minutes or so.

For whom? 

Anyone from 10 years onwards who is up for a tough and sometimes muddy walk.

Where and how? 

The combo visit starts in the courtyard of Sint-Paulus, Sint-Paulusstraat 20, 2000 Antwerp, where your guide awaits you. Entrance through the large gate. It ends at the Stadsmagazijn, Keistraat 5, 2000 Antwerp

For the descent to The Ruien , visitors will receive a protective suit, boots and a backpack to store shoes and other personal items during the walk. No possessions can be left behind on the spot.

Please note that this visit is guided in Dutch only.

Requesting a guide in a language other than Dutch is not possible for this visit.
