During a fascinating journey through time, a guide will lead you through the gate of St. Paul's on the Veemarkt to the crypt and archaeological site of this gothic gem. Then you descend into The Ruien for a fascinating walk through the ruins that ran alongside the monastery in former times. You walk underground to the end of the Koolvliet where you can take a look at the Burchtgracht, the oldest and most authentic canal in Antwerp.

There are a maximum of 10 spots per time slot. So be there on time!
You can book a combo visit with a guide on Friday at 2:15 p.m.*, and on Sunday at 2:15 p.m.*. Reservations can be made until just before the start of the visit.
* No visits possible during church services
+/- 120 minutes. Keep in mind that changing clothes after the walk may take an extra ten minutes or so.
Anyone from 10 years onwards who is up for a tough and sometimes muddy walk.
The combo visit starts at the entrance gate of Sint-Paulus, corner Veemarkt -Zwartzusterstraat where your guide awaits you.It ends at the Stadsmagazijn, Keistraat 5, 2000 Antwerp.
For the descent to The Ruien , visitors will receive a protective suit, boots and a backpack to store shoes and other personal items during the walk. No possessions can be left behind on the spot.
Requesting a guide in a language other than Dutch is not possible for this visit.
